Will the "cool" Pinstripe Bowl K-State be on the new field at BSFS?

Yes . . . it's cool.  Currie Prevails.

Immortalize these in the wild wild cats gif thread immediately. Excellent work as always, chunkles.

We may need to move BushBlister's post to the failed Haiku thread.

Is there anyway we can get a bay bridge over the lazy river? Bridge vistas seem pretty elite.

Hopefully not Luker Jones, but what's up with ADJC touring the Arizona north end renovation last week? Anything to this, CC?

Thoughts?

Interesting, if true.  NEZ/Vanier aren't slated for work until phases 5 and 6.  We're currently in phase 2.  Unless the masterplan is being reprioritized, it should be a while until we see anything close to what Arizona is doing.

My good friend and Arizona AD Greg Byrne gave me a comprehensive tour of their impressive facility, which is being built by Mortenson -- the same company that is teaming with GE Johnson to construct the West Stadium Center. Additionally, the UA building was designed by Heery, the co-designer of the WSC along with Kansas City's AECOM. It is always good to benchmark ourselves with our competition and get ideas for future phases of the LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium Master Plan.

Probably just reading too much into it, but who knows.

I'd say you are right on track, its not a matter of if but when. MHK has blown up since i lived there in the early 2000's and once the NBAF gets steaming along it will explode

How long would it take to do a NEZ/Vanier/Luxury Box if it is going to take right at about 18 months or so for the West Side Castle?

Probably about 18 months since they would have to work around Bill's office without disrupting his patterns.

Phase 5:

Quote
Concourse Additions and Connections
An elevated walkway connecting the East and West sides of the stadium could create a 360-degree concourse that allows fans to access the entire stadium complex and free up congestion. This improvement would facilitate potential expansion of the Legends Room at Bramlage and south end zone Loge Boxes.

Potential Seating Additions
Dependent on several factors, such as the growth in population projected with the NBAF project, it may prove prudent to increase the total capacity of the stadium to accommodate demands. Opportunities for expansion include the north and south ends, as well as reconfiguring the corner seating areas for growth and improved sightlines.

Look at the Arizona thing.  It would be concessions on the bottom, loge boxes in the middle that may or may not be built into Bramlage, and the walkway on top.  You can also potentially find a way to hook it into the party bar that we (I) want connected to the west side of Bramlage.

Man I hope NBAF brings K-State fans so we can have cool things.

Huge mistake leaving the NW wedge as non-stands. Would be so much more bigtimey to have bleachers completely surrounding the field.

Also what's with the weird-ass End Zone Fun Zone seat section currently in the NW corner? I mean, wtf? Looks like a weird pizza slice that got put through the dryer for a little bit.

I strongly urge the powers that be to put in trees in the NW wedge.

NW wedge will be developed into "varsity club and seating area" in Phase III.  It will be connected to a new strength and conditioning center + recruiting lounge, also to be developed in Phase III.

I see lots of trees on the West concourse in these drawings.  It's almost like they're teasing you guys, saying "here's where the trees would go... if we cared about trees..."

Just remember that trees while looking nice would be an absolute disaster.
