We spent enough on facilities it’s time to start plowing it into coaching salaries

With the new Big XII, we need to be in the top echelon of BB and FB coaches' pay.

Just a matter of time before there's just 50k 360 degree cameras sitting around and the fans each have a vr set on and a generated avatar that overlays reality in the stadium. So you can sit there, look around at other fan avatars watching the game. You're mic'd up in a sense that your neighboring fans can hear you and speakers at the stadium pumps in overall sound value based on fans yelling their rough ridin' asses off for 3rd and 2 in their living room. The players deserve a somewhat real experience. Oh but there will be some theories that some teams artificially amplify the fans volume.

Do you realize the AD makes two to three times the profit over ticket sales on concessions, amenities, and
miscellaneous products per game?  It would be stupid to reduce asses in seats as that's where a major source of AD income comes from.
Can't stop the future old man.

Plus you're saying each and every attendee on average spends around 2-3 times their ticket price on other crap every game. Probably closer to 4-5 for the AD to net 2-3x the ticket price. I would seriously be surprised if that were true.

We're a basketball school.

Spend all the money football brings in and donations on basketball staff, players, and a Bramlage renovation.

Football won't even be a thing in a few years.

Add the cost of parking, drinks, food, items at Cats store, and seat donation.  It adds up and it's more than a ticket.

Grumblings of an epic structure similar to this side of the Levi's blue jean queen. EPIC!

Gene explicitly said in one of his ask the ad sessions that were going to do exactly that, focus on salaries since the immediate facility needs have been met. Doesn't sound like Bramlage is much of a priority right now.

Gene said that after they convert the old football indoor to the new indoor track, they're taking a breather on facilities for awhile.

Since K-State Athletics isn't out there begging for ARPA and local funds, and is not trying to co-mingle public use projects with athletic facilities projects . . . and is instead financing all of these projects themselves.  It's completely understandable that they need to take a breather.

Can we just add an Urgent Care to the Bramlage renovation and get public funds to pay for the whole thing?

Agreed and honestly it shouldn't be. Bramlage needs an update sooner or later but it's also not in any imminent danger of as a facility nor as being seen as lagging behind our peers. Esp w/ the training facility crowds make game special, not as much the building you're in.

Make it the new home of student health and add a couple of "public" meeting spaces.  Should do the trick.
