Will the "cool" Pinstripe Bowl K-State be on the new field at BSFS?

Yes . . . it's cool.  Currie Prevails.
NO . . . OB Wins again.

Why are we arguing about where the band should go? It's already been decided. They have designed the NE corner specifically to hold the band, deeper seats, special access to the field, going so far as having an acoustics engineering firm design the angle of the concrete walls to project the sound. The people in 425 will hear the band.

Currie doesn't strike me as a guy who would invest that much money into full design hoping that he can get permission to move the band. The band is moving to the Suddler Corner. They've backed off announcing so it doesn't seem like a punishment. In fact it's the opposite. No other band in the country has been thought of in such a way and had their portion of the stadium specifically designed for them.

Hopefully it won't always be the case, but the Sudler is going to be the only national championship hanging in BSFS.

I've heard from band people they are lobbying pretty hard to get the NE corner designed for the band.  Specifically things like bigger areas for the tubas and drum lines, this person even said some sort of elevator and signage for the band.  From the looks of the rendering it might not be elevators or lifts, but nice ramps.

 :Woohoo: :Woohoo: :Woohoo:
I heard that there was a meeting with AD people and band nerds and engineering/arch nerds in the design process.  The AD people were  :sdeek: when they realized the engineering nerds were former band nerds and they were working the design to be more band focused.

What kind of band specific features are being discussed here?  Built in spit-valve drains?  Plume holders?

Been an anti band mover for ever and I am 100% for them moving into the northeast corner even without the special features being discussed. I'd be thrilled with a Home of the Pride Sign

I'm really hoping for a full on bandshell over the top. The ACCOUSTICS!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

wider sections for the drum line and big brass, hope for a lift for big items.

ManWeGo based bro said his constructo buddies are saying SEZ is going to have two mirror VB's of the boards in the NEZ corners and a totally redone Legends Room with primo elite seating levels on the stadium side.    A way's off, tho.

I am being 100% serious, as long as it doesn't block the video board.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was just ramps instead of elevators or even lifts. Elevators are verrryy pricey. Then again, we at K-State so maybe they'll have several.

I would be ok getting rid of the band and replacing it with nothing but a drum line to play war chants.

Way more intimidating, especially night games.

Piccolo rests. They are only needed for Wabash, so why should those poor girls have to hold them the whole time.

There's nothing wrong with the concession tents per se. They'll be replaced by permanent stands when we need to make room for expansion of the SEZ. Until then they're perfectly fine. The look fine, they work fine.

Will the legends room pop out of the fOOD and have a matching pair of Star Trek glasses?

Grand Canyon sized gap between the bleachers in the north end zone has been solved by nice back rests. Honestly these are the best non suite seats in the stadium. Fantastic job ADJC
