I am so tired of looking at dirt. When are they going to build something cool?
All this thread does is reiterate to me how little I know about construction.

It's pretty exciting, especially since my work has the exact same type of crane to put up steel for the new addition to our building. It's been interesting cause both my work and k-state are building roughly the same sized structures on the sites of former old buildings that needed to be torn down and regraded. So far, watching the action at work is like a 1-2 week preview of what ends up happening at Vanier (we starting hoisting up steel last week).

I hope they called 1-800-DIG-SAFE; man, it would be embarrassing if they ran into some utility at this stage of the game.
I mean seriously this feels rough ridin' incredible. Are we the only rich ones in this conference?

Are we the only rich ones in this conference?Ehh, I'll give Baylor, TCU and maybe OSU a pass since they've already so much for their stadiums. But yeah, that's hilarious. Dick wagglin' good. I want Currie now to come out and announce East Side Stadium stuff like tomorrow and just keep rubbing it in.
In today's world of college athletics, expansion is stupid. Improving existing player and fan amenities is where it is at.
