He already proved he can't do it again when he failed to fire the dead weight at the end of his last go.
Why were they dead weight? Could they not coach? Could they not recruit? A couple of them went other places and were considered very solid coaches/recruiters. Most of them, except Cosh, seem to be doing a better job this time around and even Cosh should be cut some very small slack due to the dearth of talent on the defensive side of the ball that Prince/Tibesar left him with. What has changed for these guys from 2000-2005 to now? One big factor not to overlook is AA cancelling out the effects of the KU Chancellor dickhead's corporate jet rule.
Because mediocrity is a step up - you see improvement. Everyone else realizes this is OBZ ceiling with this staff - but you still think he's infallible.
Never said OBZ was infallible. Just that as long as he is improving the program, I'll be happy with him as a coach. If all we achieve is medocrity, I'll be all for a change. I fully expect OBZ and this staff to be consistently competitive with EVERYBODY in the Texas 10 and to have a shot to win the league in years where the schedule is favorable with respect to when and where games against the toughest teams are. OBZ has proven that he can out coach every single coach in this league. Get the roster back to having 2 to 3 deep with D1 talent at every position, and I like our chances against the the annual recruiting champions.
Also, LOVING the misconception that everyone that thinks OBZ should retire/leave/be fired is a 15-20 year old kid that "sags"
Is this any different than the misconception that everyone that supports OBZ is a TUCK and a ford driving, bluetooth wearing, jort (whatever that is) loving, douche. Jesus some people need to think before they post.
