The only things missing from this thread are a pinball game and some organized chanting.

You know why former KSU greats come back?  The fans love them and they love us. Also to donate insane amountso of there fortune to the Univeristy that they love (not broke down Tahoes to players)

You know why former KU players come back?  To get their hand out check from boosters because they have no money of their own.  Spent on drugs, booze and hookers no doubt (not that those are bad things.)

Lets cut to the chase and the most important thing about Beasley - is he still a fat ass?

Saw in the OOD earlier this year.  Can confirm he resembled a Jimmy Dean sausage link.  (But he was still athletic enough to give me a high five.) :emawkid:

Just another Hayseed, but starts for the Chiefs, 10 years in the league, K-State walk on, from same hayseed highschool as Jordy Nelson.  (2-3A school) and John also owns property and the bubble wash on 24 in Manhattan.

I'll take a guy who still spends money in MHK.  A bubble wash might not be making it but house in the Vineyard, boat on Ozarks, and multiple other investments I'd still say he's doing just fine......and still playing.

Guys, Jeff Graves AND Aaron Miles AND SHERRON COLLINS were in Lawrence yesterday.  We can't compete with that.  I mean Jeff FREAKING Graves!!!!

Good news, there won't be any cocaine shortages around town anytime soon.

Guys quit railroading the thread.  This isn't about Jeff Graves (sp?)  Not sure who that is, but this is about K-state greats that we are blessed to have back in MHK all the time.

True story, SF went to a game with Beasley.  It was pretty elite.  We got so much free booze and food (prob why he is so fat now).  Parking lot people loved him, LOVED him.  He told everyone I was a no name special teams player and that they wouldn't have heard of me anyway.  They still gave me booze though.   :pbj:

So NFL superstar Josh Freeman was in Aggieville last night. It's okay, though, Beems. I'm sure that his teammate Aqib Talib was on Mass Street partying it up Lawrence last night, too. Right? RIGHT?!

Guys, last night a credible source (myself), tells me that starting NFL quarterback Josh Freeman was hanging out at a local Manhattan establishment (the Alehouse) last night.  NFL players on a Thursday? Starting QB's no less? Manhattan is an incredible place.  Here's to us

Confirmed. He was also at the student side of Last Chance with all the football players. Incredible.

it's times like this that i feel so blessed to go to a school and live in a town like manhattan. superbowl star in town one week, young hot-shot starting nfl quarterback flies in to replace him the next week. this just doesn't happen anywhere else.
