too  many whiny bitch posts in a row

It's the recruiting thread.  What'd u expect?

Maybe a little respect for the best looking class Bill has put together in more than a decade.  :ksu:

It's November 12th. Forgive me if I'm incorrect here, but don't we usually start to have recruiting issues in December and January?

perspective. i didn't say it was fine, but temper your expectations.

I mean, this is your quote, you filthy liar

"with or without Derricott, the 2014 class is the best class of snyder redux. practically every single kid has multiple offers from schools in the power 6. . . ."

actually, those statements are mutually exclusive. just because i think that this class without derricott is still the best synder redux class doesn't mean that i won't be upset if derricott does decommit.

right now i'm just upset that everyone thinks this class is crap and the coaching staff doesn't care or is lazy based on a statement by one recruit who *might* decommit after a theoretical visit to another school.

I don't think you know what mutually exclusive means.

Kweishi Brown is taking a visit to Nebraska. I take it Arkansas didn't give him his offer back after he decommitted and then wanted to recommit?

Dvonta wasn't just the best recruit in this class he was also the heart and soul of this class. This is crushing.

Meh, no big deal.  The ring is still pretty nice even if the one carat diamond falls off.

This just seems like normal football recruiting stuff to me. :dunno:

yeah I haven't seen or read anything that would make me believe that we lose previously committed recruits at a higher rate than anyone else.

True.  But because we historically recruit hot garbage, losing a previously committed 4* stud is more damaging than at a place like OSU, a pipeline for all of our in-state talent.

Guys...come on.
Unlike some of you recruit snobs, I think we'll doing just fine.  Why you say, well I'll tell you.  IT'S BECAUSE WE'RE BEHIND IN FACILITIES FOR THESE RECUITS.  JUST LOOK CLOSELY AT WHAT THE OTHER SCHOOLS ARE SPENDING ON RECUIT COMFORT, THEN TELL ME WE HAVE A FAIR CHANCE AT RECUITING TOP ATHLETES.  :th_twocents:

@jeremycrabtree: According to Highland coach @RyanHeld2, his CB Jesse Mack landed #KState offer today. Visits Jan. 17 and is 3x3 that could come out midterm.

Can we save our Derricott meltdown for if/when he actually decommits?  They need to keep him, I agree, but for right now, he's still committed.  He was tweeting about winning a natty at ksu, so let's take this stuff with a grain of salt.  Also don't really see how this can be blamed on the staff.  They had an in home with him like last week and he said it went great, also loved his unofficial last month according to twitter.  Also, we should offer Clarke for sure.  Also, Joe Gordon.

I'm still pretending that he's a lock to K-State and I'm not even going to worry. It's going to be really rough if he doesn't end up here, though.

Yeah, I agree, we need him badly at LB next year.  Ramirez would be good alone, but I'd much rather see Derricott next to him, that would be a really good duo.  Right now, I'm more concerned with DLine play(besides Mueller)

I want to know wtf is keeping us from offering him. Does he have a "Kill Pinocchio" tattoo or something?

Who's this Riddle guy that people keep talking about that is offered over a 6'3" LB that runs a 4.6 according to Rivals like Clarke?

Also, doesn't really look like we're going to lose any of the BSHS trio.  Good chance we finish strong if we lock up McDaniel and keep Derricott(who they should be recruiting A LOT).

I saw Warmack and Elijah Lee both welcomed Darius White to KSU via twitter. Great sign, however Derricott did the same.

So I watched the Jesse Mack kids hudl highlights.... The positives are: He is serviceable ? Solid speed, good hands, and he has three years to improve. Negatives: Not a solid tackler, is going to get beat deep in Big12 play, and overall he looks more like a wr converted to a cb more than anything. I'm little surprised by this offer, but three years I guess. Would actually be smart if Snyder started getting the jump on some Juco talent after their first year.

some of you have insane standards of excellence for the coaching staff when it comes to recruiting. with or without derricott, the 2014 class is the best class of snyder redux. practically every single kid has multiple offers from schools in the power 6 and you want to complain that one guy might flip? welcome to big time college athletics. i expected more out of titletown fans...

Trust me, I have the exact opposite of "insane standards of excellence" when it comes to Kansas State recruiting.

a little context.  this class is Rivals #51.  ranked quarely behind Conference doormats Iowa State and West Virginia.  ask yourself how that's even possible.  balance.  though this class adds some nice offensive pieces, it's hot garbage on the other side of the ball.  Sans Dericcott, we're missing a single impact LB or DT.  Maybe it's just my insane standards over here, but I think we can do better.

Sam Sizelove is pretty good.
