I mean, i just love hearing about our intense atmosphere from other coaches.  I think i might like hearing about that more than i like winning.  Talk about validation.  I lost my crap when Pete Carroll talked about it ("HE'S PLAYED IN EUGENE!") and now Art, who plays at OU, Texas, Oklahoma State...man.

We rule so hard.  Big ups to Art.

What a great quote.  The Athletic Department should emblazon that on a banner or something somewhere.  I might get it tattooed on my back.

Read this Art Briles interview.  http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2013/6/5/4398482/art-briles-interview-baylor-football-coach

SH: Big 12 stadium with the most intense atmosphere?

AB: Right when you said it I thought Manhattan, Kansas. You want to stand next to someone and not be able to hear them, walk your ass into Manhattan, Kansas.

The loudest few seconds I've ever experienced at a football game was when Arthur picked off RG3, and I've been to lots of games in stadiums with 90K+ fans

That was pretty loud, I felt though the Voelker's pass block to end the game essentially was louder, but the Baylor in game in general was probably the best crowd BSFS has seen since 2002

Everyone was falling down because they were cheering and partying so hard at that moment. An interception there was just so unlikely, and for it to be Art. Man. There was happiness pouring from my eyes.

What year was it when we lost to OU at home, but during the game we blocked a punt for a TD late in the game?  We were both highly ranked.  2001 maybe?  When we returned the TD was the loudest I've ever heard it.

2000. I expelled all of the air from my lungs and thought I was having a heart attack.

Somebody explain the recruitment of Nicodem Pierre. Very odd story. Did we lose out when Smitty left?

I would second this but I'm afraid my standing with the mods would lesson the odds of it happening.

Did it cement your relationship or do you both pretend it didn't happen?

We still talk about it and high five and one time I think we both cried (but in a happy way).
