itk told me he was struggling with consistency and was at time AWOL early in his career dealing with homesickness and being away from Wichita

definitely can understand dealing with homesickness being away from wichita. i mean. 'ta town.  most definitely.  :flush:

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I deal with this daily.  Then I go outside and remember how much better KC is than Wichita and it helps a lot.

"Honestly I'm still open minded and still searching," Castaneda said. "I'm not going to make my final decision until February when we get to sign. Kansas State is kind of tied with Texas Tech right now honestly."

The 6-foot-5, 305-pounder's unofficial visit to Lubbock in late March could not have gone better for the Red Raiders, who look to assemble a solid offensive line class in 2014.

"Texas Tech was a more personal trip," Castaneda said. "They kind of opened the red carpet for me. They made me feel more confident in myself. (K-State) probably showed the same amount of love, but the visit to Tech was more personal and I loved it a lot more. Everything they had is everything I wanted in a school."

Maloney:  Got my hands on a number late last night, will try him today.
Swain and Harrison ... stay tuned today.

not surprising..but why did he even bother to commit if he's that open?

Dude committed on Junior Day, I wonder how personal he expected that to be?

Looks like we continue to dominate KCMO for studs. Made final 3 for a badass lb and sitting pretty with a stud wr.

Would def take both. The WR was a teammate with Ramirez, so hopefully that'll help.

Who's this Easton Stick kid out of Omaha?  He has a really great name and he doesn't look bad.  But no stars assigned as of yet.  Could he help out the BatCats too?  With that name alone we'd get a College World Series surely?

Man, this Mizzou move to the SEC is working out better than I could have ever imagined.

I think those kids want their parents and family to be able to see them play most games.

If you live in KC and can go to KSU, your parents will most likely be able to see 9-10 games a year by driving.  That means something.

Although we're not getting them, they are losing all the St. Louis recruits, too. They are going to suck big time in the years ahead.

There would probably be chemistry issues with a Weston and Easton on the same team. :nerd:

All of that could change when they fire Pinkel, but it doesn't look very good for them right now.
