After bugging the poor guy to death, Edwin Delva finally got back to me this afternoon.

He's decided that he will make his announcement on Christmas Day.

It will stay a two-team battle between Kansas State and Oregon State for his commitment and the defensive tackle also told me that he plans to sign on Christmas Day as well, all from his home in Miami, Florida.

Sounds like he'll be announcing on New Years Day you guys.

Honestly I don't really want Tanner Wood either, stats are so overrated from his small ass school opponents. He is going to get dominated at the d1 level and  is basically going to be a 5 year specialty teams player.

MIR has watched him in person and felt he will be fine.  Not spectacular but more than a special teams contributor.   

He wont redshirt & will start as a junior.

I hope this pushes Delva our way if he isn't already there.

Would agree and would also emphasis Conway Springs probably doesn't have the greatest of strength and condition program, so there is a lot of room for improvement. I have never looked at him as a 3 star prospect, a lot closer to a 4.

LB Martrell Spaight of Coffeyville C.C. said he will tweet his decision around 9 to 10 o'clock in the morning and then have the picture of him and the school's coach on his Facebook page and twitter account. He will be deciding between Arkansas and Kansas State, whom he's committed to last week.

If he doesn't sign to K-State, the whole picture with the head coach thing is going to be a giant kick in the nuts.

Rhoades said three-star wide receiver Jatavius Stewart might have more offers and attention than anybody on his team, but Rhoades said Stewart, ranked No. 58, has to get things straight academically first.

Rhoades said Stewart most likely will end up as a summer graduate.

Three-star inside linebacker Antonio Longino has also been busy. He has made trips to Kansas State and Arizona State in the last two weeks. Rhoades said Longino, ranked No. 96, is on pace to graduate in the spring.
