Spaight just received a scholarship offer from Arkansas, and he is originally from Little Rock.

Reason to be concerned?  I am :ohno:

I don't think there's any doubt that he's gone.  Tough break but opens up a spot!

Doesn't sound good.  Bielema had an in home and Martrell was "impressed with Bielema" and he always wanted an offer from Arkansas and he bled red and to get the offer was a great feeling.

Ok, so now that Spaight is gone, who is the backup plan?  Manhatter?

I’m not going to lie, losing Spaight hurts.  Dude tackles everyone on the field.  I guess losing out to Jenkins-Moore hurts even more now.

i'm guessing dakorey got dumped by kliff, but whatever

yep, Kliff is a 33 year old genius.  pffft.  I bet he's a massive failure.

Speaking for the defensive side of the ball...I want a guy that Tuberville wanted.  Seriously, he was a defensive assistant at Miami under Jimmy J in the 90s and had great defenses at Auburn.  He always, always put a premium on speed/quickness over size.  He has smaller defenders but they could fly and made plays all over.  If Tuberville wanted DaKorey then you want him at K-State, period...end of story.

oh, and I noticed you are bitching about wide receiver?  you serious?  not a need in this class.

Tommy recruited Ray Lewis.

This. We do not have a big wideout to throw to. We are stocked with little guys.

Spaight, if you are reading this, let me tell you that you will have the opportunity to be a really huge emaw hero at K-State. You will not have that opportunity at Arkansas.

He said plans to look at the pros and cons of each school and come up with a decision. Doesn't have a time frame. Because of the dead period, Spaight won't be able to visit Arkansas before the start of the mid-term-JC signing period that starts on Dec. 19. If he signs he was told he could visit Jan 4-6 during the quiet period. He can wait until later and visit the Jan. 11-13 weekend and then sign if that's want he wants to do.

Spaight is good with the English requirements of the SEC for JC transfers but will have a take an online class for the math requirement or take a class at Arkansas Baptist.

Bielema is apparently cut from the same cloth as Bob Stoops with his fair-weather morals.

EDIT: He doesn't write the SEC rules, he just plays by them.

so we are assured to lose Spaight imo. don't drop his scholly offer yet but find someone else to take his place and, once we have their committment (telling them we are going to drop Spaight's scholly if they committ), drop his scholly offer.

yeah that is true also. approximately 75% of ex-cops who are private investigators who party are named either Boyd or Nash or Tango or Cash
