Mike?  Is that what most were recruiting him for (what with the "outside" on his rivals profile)?

#1...ignore a rivals profile position.  Many of those are inaccurate.  2) he is my personal preference for Mike although his skills are more like a Will.  It really doesn't matter.

btw, along the lines of this rivals position thing....Tanner Wood will not be a LB, Chance Allen is more likely a guard, and so is Hannon.

Also, on Marshall, he's said in the past that A) he's a quarterback, and B) he's expecting to play quarterback and (probably) start wherever he goes.  He screwed up by going to Georgia, and he's not making that same mistake twice.

This is a kid that may go to a BCS school that gives him the best chance to be "the man" on Day 1, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Daniel Sams is beyond legit.  I could easily see Marshall leaning IU if he thinks he has to compete with Sams and he thinks we're wanting Waters more.

And if we get Waters, as much as I'd like him to come here, Marshall is off of the board.

FWIW, Crash Ekeler and Brandon Shelby are the lead recruiters at IU

So how does that work for depth at K? I'm assuming Jack Cantele is taking over the spot, so is this guy going to redshirt and then take the place after baby Cantele graduates?
