the classy cats choreographed a dance to it.

please don't tell me the actually choreographed something to it for 2 reasons:

1. It would be stupid
2. We were laughing in section 2 that they had to dance to it.  Their dance looked nothing like it was supposed to be choreographed to it.  What our eyes were seeing didn't match what our ears were hearing.  If that was specially choreographed to that song, they did a terrible, horrible job at it.  Like DJamer Scoops level job.

It was significant enough that they decided to split-screen the Jumbotron.

When they played that farming video, I thought that those big-time recruits were probably thinking "where the hell am I?"  Then I realized we weren't getting them anyway, so it didn't matter.

I zipped my head into my coat and hid from the shame of that video.

What an awful, awful, awful, stupid, stupid, stupid idea.
Deets please.

YouTube "I'm a farmer and I grow it"

Be ashamed

Oh man, if you're embarrassed by that you take yourself way too damn seriously.  That thing is awesome.  It should take it's place next to Eco-Cat and the power towel video in the K-State0 hall of fame.

LOL, I almost guessed that was what it was.

I enjoy the parody aspects of that video but it should of been the pregame for a September noncon, not the biggest home game in the history of the stadium.

I can only imagine the thoughts the recruits had in their mind while that video was playing. Probably along the line of "No rough ridin' way I am going to be associated with that crap!"

Would it be a recruiting violation if we gave each of the recruits a free meat goat as thanks for coming out? If so, I think we should at least let all of them feed the goats before the game.

If you sent it home with them.  You should cook some up on the grill for them if it's an official though.     :ksu:

Train the goats to rub up against their legs.  Try to get them to form a bond with a specific goat, maybe name the goat after them.  Tell them if they come to KSU, the goat lives.  If they sign somewhere else, we eat the goat.

There a point were we just need to deal with the fact we have an ag school image. We need to make it just cool and stuff.

You can't make it cool.

You just simply don't draw attention to it.  That's the proper way to handle it.

There was a point in time when ol Wabash used to get really worked up about how insanely terrible we are at recruiting.  I used to ask myself why?  Why are we so bad at this?

And then I reached a complete not caring point.  I highly recommend it because it feels so much better.  Just laugh at the complete ineptitude and horribleness and enjoy the ride.

totally read my mind.

Yeah, I mean it's not like these recruits are going to look down their noses at our academics. You would have to be pretty overly sensitive to think that this had any impact on recruiting at all.

MJM is solidly a Jayhawk!  Great news!  Gotta love that K-State is having their best ever season and we're still beating them on the recruiting trail.  Just wait until Weis can sell some wins!  Must be depressing if you're a K-State fan and have a 1-11 football team out recruiting you.
