Rob Cassidy is reporting on the Rivals network that Marcus Hardison took an unofficial visit to the game, and he is going to visit again on an Official visit in a couple weeks.  He's one the most recruited juco players on our list.  A defensive end with 30+ offers, including from the likes of Auburn, FSU, OU, TCU, Tennessee, A&M, Utah, WVU, Washington, etc.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/kansasstate/football/recruiting/player-Marcus-Hardison-137484

Landing this guy would be rough ridin' amazing.

Anyways, anyone hear of any new information on Will Geary and him possibly coming to K-State? Hmm..

Really pathetic post   :barf:

Thanks for being informative!

Jamone did not commit to Kansas State on his visit as was rumored. He's at breakfast in Manhattan now. Hopefully, he calls me back later. Just wanted to post that to clear things up.

I don't see how anyone who was here last night could turn us down. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that.

Agreed... need to send the new "Stand Up For The Champions" video based on this game to every top 100 recruit in the country. I bet 25 change their commitment to us right on the spot and BOOM, #1 recruiting class

Copy and paste anyone? tia

http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncfrecruiting/midlands/post/_/id/7420/nick-ramirez-talks-k-state-experience

Quote
“I loved the atmosphere. It seems like a great place to be at,” Ramirez said. “The fans are great. I talked to lot of the guys on the team, and they seem like some cool guys. They had a lot of cool things to say about the problem.”

Ramirez, who is being recruited by Kansas State defensive coordinator Tom Hayes, said he will play his recruiting “by ear.” He’s not expecting to make a decision any time soon, but he isn’t ruling out a quick announcement.

problem = program  :dunno:

Program would have to be what they meant.  Does Ramirez have any visits set up to other schools?

What does this GPC article have to say about his visit?

Why do our Rivals and Scout sites have to suck so badly?  Really, this is all we're getting in terms of recruiting news?

Did Combs commit?  Did he like his visit?  What about Jenkins-Moore?

Iowa Western beat Butler 27-7 in the NC game.  Waters was 32-40 for 306.  He doesn't sound like a Snyder type of QB, he only had 12 rushing yds on 19 carries.  (Butler did have a ton of sacks though.)  Also, Cosh blew out his knee trying to stop a pick 6 and watched the 2nd half from a wheelchair.

Agree sites generally suck, but decent write ups on Combs, Ramirez, Hardison on GPC.

Marshall is dynamic, but Waters is legit.  He has real offers.  Bill O'Brien knows QBs.

We're recruiting Sams' backup.  Waters would be a good get for that role.

No commits though?  Close to committing?  Like, "I'm just going to go home and talk to my parents about it?"

2 of the 3 are by scoops, so i wouldn't trust them anyway. Looks like rob has already had to clean up one of his messes from last night.

No commitments.

Also...While tailgating with 8MP i noticed that Alex Mayes and his younger brother Conner Mayes were walking around with their family. Both have been offered, and Alex is currently committed to Minnesota, but their dad was decked the eff out in emaw swag. Assuming it was another unofficial visit, but thats twice they've been in attendance this year...so that's gotta be a good sign.

Also saw that Zach Hannon the OG from Rockhurst (current Nubbs commit) was supposedly in attendance. Would be really sweet flipping a commit from that pud program.

"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."
