Penn State junior LB Khairi Fortt is visiting Cal this weekend, according to Dave Ruden.

Ruden also added that Fortt's father said the linebacker has offers from about 12 schools, including Florida State, Kansas State, and TCU. Fortt has a legitimate chance to start at any one of those schools, specifically Penn State, after he tallied six tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks in part time duty last season.

No. It was actually great until around 2000. During the 90s we were consistently top half of the conference.

it's been equally this bad since roughly 2000. Ron's first class (hybrid LHC Bill Snyder/ron class) was probably the best since then.

It was a mix of awful recruiting and anyone worth a crap didn't qualify or left before they played a meaningful down.

It was depressing. At least the kids we're signing now make it to camp for the most part.
