We are not the Vandy of the Big12.  Vandy currently has 15 commits (3 - 4* and 12 - 3*)

Don't know how to take this comment other than, "He's probably not interested."

Derby tweeted that he attended the Kansas State spring game this past Saturday. He also attended Arkansas’s spring game the week before.

That gives me hope that if we ever hire a coach who is charismatic and cares about recruiting, we may actually do okay.

Of course, we can't offer a Vandy education, but whatever.  Just hand the kids a printed brochure with Truman, Rhodes, Goldwater, etc.  See if that helps.

I've only been skimming this crap of a thread, but even I know by now that facilities don't matter.  Kids pick the places where their families will be taught life lessons during the time that they are held hostage.

Tell me about it. Trying to find good news on the recruiting trail right now seems to be a challenge. I cannot even imagine covering recruiting for a program that shares information on who they are pursuing and they actually are given the time to aggressively pursue recruits.

I can only liken it to sales and just constantly having to cold call the same person who absolutely tells you nothing, over and over and over again.

It's never been more apparent that kstate has to hide their info... I mean we can't out recruit anyone so better to just not try anything right now

Fitz, honest question, is the the FB staff more tight lipped now about recruiting, than they were say, 10/15 years ago? To me that seems to be the case.

Well, Damian Williams is still on the board.

I couldn't put my finger on who he reminded me of, but his throwing motion, footwork, build, etc. remind me of Byron Leftwich.

I'm not saying he is Byron Leftwich, but that's who I think about when I watch his video.

If the Cats end up landing Waters as a JUCO QB, I'd be okay with that.  We need some sort of upperclassman going into Spring Ball next year even if he won't play in front of Sams or Bender.

If we landed Waters and Williams, I'd be content.  Kincaid would have made me happy, but at this point, I'll settle for content.
