"I am a 6'8 265lbs. Defensive End that can play in the middle if necessary, atletic enough to play on both sides of the ball meaning TE/OT... I run 4.7 40yard dash bench max is 350lbs, still have 3 years to play 2 so im able to red shirt and still learn the game of football"

looks pretty simple to me. We lose 3 OTs following the '11 season. We need to get some in the program immediately...preferrably long, tall, athletes. This kid was more of a basketball player in high school...me thinks he is learning the sport. Redshirt him this fall and put 40lbs on the kid...he emerges next season as a 6'7 310lb OT w/ long arms and sweet feet.

Dare we do this...you seen OU's starting LT for next fall?

Here was his high school photo on rivals...no offers out of high school...then played QB, sparingly, for a season at Juco and was then moved to TE in the spring...OU saw him at a spring practice and decided to add a warm body to the position over the summer. QB to TE to DE to OT and the Sooners coaching staff thinks he has found his position and will be outstanding.

turns out the kid has only played 3 years of football in his life. He was a basketball player until a new coach at his high school convinced him to play football. He had USC, Miami, and Kentucky recruiting him this year...USC didn't see enough film and they're tight on scholies. Miami didn't think he could get in. Kentucky was interested in him as a TE but he only played a few games there this year. His video is on youtube. He has good movement ability...just a big, big frame. His best football is ahead of him. I still say he winds up as an OT.
