You know what "brix" means in the wine industry? It means "amount of sugar a wine has before it starts fermenting into alcohol". And let me tell you guys, sometimes there's so much brix in a wine that no matter the alcohol content it produces (talent), it still tastes like a dessert wine (gross/useless).

I watched some of his HS Jr highlights and I can't believe how empty their stadium is.  You would think there would be more there besides a few parents.

I don’t know the timing of it all, but it seems like the last few years we pick up a bunch of stars when the poachers start circling. We tend to get in early on our best recruits.

We had huge freshman classes in '22 and '23 with a ton of red shirts and not many transfers so the coaches planned on the '24 class being transfer heavy. Klieman set the stage for this all the way back to the press conference announcing the '23 class.

Following up on this, we signed a total of 40 high schoolers in '22 & '23 and only 7 of them have transferred. I noticed that we also signed 15 high schoolers in '22 and 25 in '23, so maybe they're going to sign big high school classes every other year?
