Awesome on Johnson

While I admit I would probably be  :blank: about the Fabris commit at this time of year, in many other years. But I just don't get the ranting by some in other forums. His dad is a good football coach, which I know doesn't make the kid a good football player, but many many times from my observation coaches kids turn out to be solid contributors or better.  There's nothing wrong with taking him now IMO.

Agreed, Dax!  He has great size as well!  Coaches kids are above normal when it comes to in-game knowledge and fundamentals.  That could be fantastic in a Safety position.

You should watch his tape I linked above.  I know everybody looks good in their tape, but there's a lot of it there. He seems to love smashing people, takes good angles, and reads the offense well.  The coaching staff has been great at identifying talent before other schools figure it out and I won't be surprised if they got this one right as well.

I read somewhere that fabris is also a really good baseball player and was an all state or district selection. I think he’s a fine take. I don’t think we’re throwing a bone.

Yeah when I looked him up his first links were baseball, not football related.

Maybe not a DUDE, but probably a guy worth having on the team. If it gets to a situation of an embarrassment of riches where we regret it I'd love that situation

Regarding Fabris: in a development program, you got to have locker room guys, coaches on the field, five heart try Hards, etc. Fabris has some talent along with intangibles. His dad was a heck of a coach in the foundation era and has contacts in the Georgia area. Not a bad kid to have on board.

Is it to early to start shipping some biscuits to his house? He needs at least 40lbs on his frame before Klein can use him as a battering ram.

I know fabris and his kids (he one two years younger as well) a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny  bit which means I know them more than 98% of this board. No clue how good he currently is or if it will work out but I guarantee he is tough as crap and will work his ass off.

Per Drew Galloway, Jack Fabris keeps the Georgia streak alive. Kansas State has landed a dude from Georgia in every recruiting cycle since 2014

Is this like a take Will Howard to get his monster left tackle of a brother type scenario here?
