Griffin isn't even a top 3 rusher in school history for OU.  Pud.  They used him because Stoops was rebuilding and couldn't recruit bigger guys he had after Griffin.

DeMarco Murray - 6'1" 220lb  (2006-2010)
Samaje Perine - 5'11" 240lb  (2014-2016)
Adrian Peterson - 6'1" 220lb  (2004-2006)

Other notables post-Griffin
Dominique Whaley - 5'10" 200lbs
Damien Williams - 5'11" 220lbs
Brennan Clay - 6' 220lbs
Rodney Anderson - 6' 225lbs
Kennedy Brooks - 5'11" 220lbs
Trey Sermon - 6' 220lbs
Rhamondre Stevenson - 6' 230lbs



OU will always prefer a sizeable back over someone like Dylan who measures in at 5'9" and 165lbs.  He is a slot receiver for OU and/or returner.  Like I said, they will most likely ruin him.  Thankfully transfer rule can save him. 

Whether receiver or RB, K-State has proven success for significantly undersized dudes.

He has. He was here for the hall of fame ceremony. There's a picture floating around of all three of them.

I haven't heard a damn thing that has convinced me that K-State is still not in the lead for Edwards. The arguments for OU hasn't seemingly gone past "well it's OU."

We put out a new offer to a 2023 guy yesterday, not sure how much longer Edwards has to drag this out.  If this new guy and Allen Mitchell both commit, he might be out of a spot.

he's a legacy recruit, kstate is utilizing a similar player to his max abilities, he should have committed or at least should be speaking glowingly about kstate if we're ahead. instead we are friendzoned, he's eating up everything ou has to say, and all 6 predictions are for him to go to ou.

who's the new guy, and how good is our shot with allen mitchell (who is ranked higher and automatically better than edwards)?

Yea I think the staff has learned their lesson on being a cozy backup option for these kids all the way up until signing day.  If Avery and Dylan don’t commit to kstate by March I think their window is likely closed.

No, he should not have committed by now. This is still early for 2023s. Only 46 of the top 250 have committed, that's less than 20% of the class, and I promise you that multiple players in that 46 won't end up signing with who they are committed to.

As we have with Edwards. Let's hope some media outlet doesn't decide to write an article about Mitchell and the article happens to mention Michigan State, I wouldn't want to see all the whining that would occur. His recruitment is still open too, literally the only difference between the two is that Mitchell didn't visit OU.

Why does nobody ever talk about John Randle Jr, the RB from Wichita? Are we assuming he isn't even interested and going elsewhere? Not sure I have heard anything about him at all, but he is ranked higher than Edwards.
