T-7 in big 12 on rivals. it's a big class (28) and our average rating is weighed down by like 7 or 8 two-stars which are projects with potential. we have more three-stars than anyone in the big 12. other than ou/texas, TCU is really the only one that stands out as significantly better because they have six 4 stars.

It's a good mix of JUCO guys to possibly fill some openings and still win next year, and also build for the future, I think.

I really like the GA 3 star DB's.

The difference will hopefully be retention. The late Snyder 2.0 teams started suffering because we'd lose 30-40% of the class before they were SO/JR. That's fine when you recruit like Alabama, but we can't afford to do that.

Take a look at the 2017 class for instance:

Anthony Payne, Josh Brown, Xavier Davis, Gervarrius Owens, Tancy Richardson, Bernard Goodwater, Aiden Mills, Antonio Oliver, Bill Kuduk, Spencer Misko, Danny Walker, Isaiah Stewart, Tevita Fehoko

That's almost half the class that all either never made it, got kicked out, or left under Snyder.

If he can accomplish 8 wins with the deficiencies he inherited last year, I like his odds to do more with this higher-end Snyder quality class.

I'd judge Snyder's recruiting a little harsher because we've seen what it translated to on the field.

everyone seemed pretty excited by the one guy we got that committed the day before signing day, Mitchum from Tennessee, we were fighting over phone time with LSU for him.

And i assume he dropped our ranking because he wasn't ranked.

Damn, was super pumped for him. Thought he'd compete in a year or two. But he was Snyder's recruit and maybe didn't like Kliemans system.
