Chris Herron, Josh Youngblood, Keenan Garber, Phillip Brooks, Wykeen Gill, Malik Knowles, Chabastin Taylor is plenty plus the WR already in the 2020 class.

im not real impressed with the offer lists of our commitments but at least most of them have a small number of other P5 offers.
most of our current roster didn't have any P5 offers so we might be making small progress

I think it's like the 32nd ranked class overall

this recruiting class is good, not great, and better than anything we've had in the last 8 years at least

2014 and 2015 were both better than this class will be.

How many guys from those classes left that were supposed to be good and never really got on the field?

10 of the guys from 2015 play significant minutes on this team, 2 left early for NFL last year, 2 grad transferred to P5 programs last year.   2014 had the blue springs trio and Dalton Risner.  Both were in the 40’s on rivals. This class will be 10 spots below both when it’s finished.

10 spots below as in 10 spots better or worse?

Honestly, as long as CK is getting the guys that fit his system and get near the same ranked classes that we used to, we'll be doing pretty well.

This class will be high 50’s. It’s not a bad class by any means relative to the time the staff had to work on 2020.  I think it’s easy to conflate how poorly Snyder managed the team at the end relative to the talent he brought in for those years.

The classes may be equal or worse than some of the Snyder classes, but I sense a different energy with the recruiting. Those Snyder classes felt like a couple assistants working their ass off to get what we did and not to expect much better. This feels like everyone’s putting in work, we just haven’t gotten any bigger fish to bite yet.

this is purely anecdotal but i've never felt this good about a class in terms of how early we filled the class and how many other legit power 5 offers they had (not all). it doesn't feel like we'll have to scramble in january like we usually do. i dunno, could be wrong.

Finishing this year with 9 or 10 wins should help us a lot with the 2021 class.

Yea the 2021 class will really tell us what Klieman and Co have for recruiting chops.  They appear to be off to a great start in Kansas and KC Metro already.

i wonder if part of the success this year is klieman is playing more talented guys vs the lunch pales.

coach'em up is a thing though, it does seem like this staff will be good at this. just hope they don't get cocky and give up on recruiting.

i don't think you win multiple natty's at any level by getting cocky and give up on recruiting

its too bad the new coaches couldn't have arrived a year sooner. this year there was a bounty of high level OLs in KS/KC.
and KSU got exactly 0 of them
i think we might have been able to get our OL of the future in this one class if KLiemann would have had more time to develop relationships with them
