CK is getting best athletes on HS football teams (usually RB's and QB's). I really hope we have success with this model because it makes a ton of sense. This reminds me of guys like Rashad Washington who came to Manhattan as a RB but became a really good SS.

I think I read that Mozee is like 5'7" though, so you would think that would limit his ability to transition to very many positions. Seems like most short guys that are good football players are super quick RBs or maybe slot receivers. Maybe I'm wrong though

Tank Reese wasn't very tall, so DT is another option.

He has some transfers to keep the numbers per class closer to normal. They'll compete and a couple will end up transferring. I think he's addressing a glaring hole to an extent that ensures we have B12 caliber talent.

May very well load up on grad transfer backs again in 2020 as well.

Mozee and Duece are different types of players.

If you need comparisons:

Deuce is more like Sproles (crazy lateral elusiveness and jump cut ability)

Mozee is more like Aaron Lockett. Terrific burst and straight line speed. Mozee is a 10.5 100 meter sprinter and just finished 2nd yesterday in MO’s largest classification in the 100. He beat OU corner commit Dontae Manning in that race. Manning can fly.

Deuce is more of a RB. Mozee is more of a slot receiver IMO. They are only similar based on their height

I will take that! If both of them are 80% as good as those players that’d be sweet... I hope they are both 100% committed.

To be very honest here, if HCCK can't do better than a Lockett and a Sproles in his 1st recruiting class then it's time for HCCK to move on down the road.
