Dude was probably penalized a bit because he was a qualifying risk out of high school.

Guess I'd rather have a low rated dude with mutiple BCS offers than a higher rated guy with only one BCS offer.  :dunno:  also- we definitely need oline help for next year.  Weibert is a senior, right?  305lbs is a good sized center.

Yes, Wade is a senior this year, and Shaun is a Dec. graduate. Perfect timing for him to fill in the shoes, with the new QB.

In helping the Bullpups to a 9-2 record, Ulsaker said he earned scholarship offers from Kansas State and Duke and Football Championship Sub-Division schools Northern Iowa and Northern Illinois...Besides Washburn, Ulsaker said his basketball offers included Wichita State, University of Missouri-Kansas City and Emporia State.

OT...if you want to play basketball, why pick Washburn over Wichita State?

Sounds like WRSOAT lucked out in not getting that FP, TC, etc.

Heard we have offered (not sure in which form) this player as a CB. He is very high on us. He's actually related to Veryl Switzer. http://www.maxpreps.com/athletes/uA-KKl1O4UmA5WXrJP6p_Q/football-fall-10/stats-reggie-jordan.htm

From my old high school. Considering how small the school is, I've greatly refined the search out there to find out who I am. I've said too much.

So... I guess Carroll shutout Hutch and GE lost to somebody.   Would be kinda cool if the 6A and 5A champs were both from the city league.   :dunno:

This thread will pick up quite a bit after the UNT game.  Our staff doesn't seem to recruit too terribly much during the season.

It's well known that our staff doesn't spend a ton of time on the recruiting trail during the season.  You may have noticed the fact the we don't tend to sign many kids from September through December.  Pretty much the whole staff will hit the road for a week on Sunday.  And then they will spend several days a week traveling until signing day.  We will add like another 10 kids in the next two months.  But we probably do that all the time, right?  Maybe you should stick with gay-ass weather maps?

We won't sign anyone until February as that's when you're allowed to sign a LOI.

And, no, we won't secure another ten commitments in the next two months because we don't have that many scholarships to give.  We're down to about five or six available scholarships under the twenty-five ship limit.

Several of those kids we have committed are going juco or will be grey-shirted.  We will end up with like 30 kids in this class, if not more.

The only known sign and place now is Mickens.

And, technically, if a kid is a grayshirt, he's not in this class.  He's in the next one.  We're carrying over gray-shirts from last year to be a part of this class already.

And technically, if a kid is a sign and place, he's not in this class either. (Do you have any idea what a doucebag you sound like?)  And just because only on of these kids are said publically that he will be attending a juco doesn't mean he will be the only one.  If you want to be a technical douche, we will end up with 30 or more kids on Rivals' commitment list.  We do every year.  Right now, there are like 19 kids on that list.  Therefore, we will add at least 10 more commitments before signing day.  jackass.

Heights beat Olathe North, Carroll lost to Blue Valley (?) First city league team to win a state championship in quite awhile.  That's pretty cool.
