That would be amazing if he did, but it sounds like he'll have to sit. Nothing confirmed yet however.

Sutton, Pringle, Strickland, Zuber.... Now all we need is a qb who can throw.

What's crazy is that will still be a bottom 3 or 4 WR unit in the Big 12

Doesn't matter. Would be very high for us, which makes us incredibly dangerous (assuming we got the QB)

Maybe I should put this in the tidbit thread, didn't think it was too earth shattering, but I got some info from someone that believes Skylar Thompson is already the best true passer on the roster. And barring too much sketti-braining to shake up the depth chart over the years, he believes Delton could never start a game at QB for K-State.

This could all be very wrong and of course is hard to predict with the recent attrition to our QB's.

That Delton comment is definitely a gut punch. If he can't beat out Hubener on the depth chart, maybe time to move him to another position.

I think it's more about how good Skylar is. Hubes is a senior this year and will be a backup to Ertz. Delton would need Ertz to get injured or beat out Skylar after Ertz is done, which I'm guessing by this comment he won't beat out Skylar.

If Thompson is this good will he be willing to wait another year after next if Ertz gets another year because of his injury?

Pretty sure he knew what he signed up for, with this cast of Qb's.

If Thompson is already that good then Ertz could be benched for him, in which case he'd probably become a graduate transfer and go elsewhere. But it wouldn't be without precedent, NC State did it to Russell Wilson.
