The season is still young, but he's probably more Terrence Cain than Cam Newton.  Maybe not even that.

He's still a major upgrade over anyone on the roster, though.  Worth a scholarship.

Dude, Sams is only throwing the ball a handful of times per game at the high school level.  The other QB is a zero star and has one offer, from Stephen F. Austin.  (Even though he is the QB for a prominent team in LA.)    You guys are only setting yourself up for disappointment if you think he he ever going to be a solid QB at the D1 level.

Not if we're talking about QBs, it's not.  Sams is probably a better overall athlete, but the dude can't even get the majority of QB snaps at the higgh school level.  Snyds would have to do one hell of a coach 'em up to turn that kid into a QB.
