We lost the #2 JC DT Demond Tucker to Iowa rough ridin' State. 

I'm going to take a leap and say the guy wants a starting position handed to him. Why else go to Iowa State? K-State is stacked at DT so if that's the case then they never really stood a shot.

Didn't we lose a couple of highly ranked Juco's to KU a few years ago for the same reason?  Dreamteam IIRC.

Turns out you can be the best juco DT and still get buried on our depth chart.
