I'm not sure why but I think the coaches were fine not taking a qb this year.

this is definitely not it

I really hope it's not because they're enamored with this kid from Harrisonville.

I feel like we're taking this kid at a discount as a preferred walk-on and hoping it turns out to be a steal in a couple of years if he's worthy of a scholarship.

WRSOAT gonna WRSOAT.
Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

offer was to grey shirt and possible full offer if something else didn't happen but that thing did/didn't happen (is my other guess).

http://www.nola.com/recruiting/index.ssf/2014/02/east_st_john_defensive_end_dar.html

East St. John Coach Phil Banko said that the Wildcats told Williams that if he went on his visit to Tulane, they "wouldn't have anything for him" because they were bringing in defensive ends this past weekend.

I believe we did the same thing with Justin Hughes and it worked. The question is are we keeping more recruits by pulling scholarships or by letting them go on visits?
I don't think we have a high success rate either way.

I think Snyder has gotten all butthurt in the past about recruits flipping. Maybe he is just saying eff em and moving on to other options...

Yea unfortunately, your most likely right, although,  I do believe Coleman is a lot better recruiting coordinator then Jim Bob was.

Kind of funny, but last month I was worried we might not have enough scholarships for any last minute pickups. Now I feel like we have three or four that are just going to be unused or given to walk-ons. I can't believe how many scheduled visits we have canceled in these last few weeks of the signing period.

We shouldn't STILLS be missing out on the top players from Kansas. This guy is the top player from Kansas in '15 according to 247, from little Baldwin City and decides to go play for a crap Big 10 team.

@Cassidy_Rob: Huskers' 2015 class is off to an incredible start. Today NU picks up Baldwin City (Kan.) OL Christian Gaylord. This according to @NateClouse
