this should surprise no one. we've heard zero from him since his commitment flip to us. convert ertz into the next klein and move on.

(a) sharp came on a visit in early december with elijah lee and really liked it, from what i can remember
(b) ertz will never be klein. ever. have you even seen his film?

we lose waters and cook next year. that leaves us with sams, ertz and hubener. if sharp flips, our qb depth is mumped.

didn't know that about sharp, trey. otherwise, meh. we'll figure it out.

I'd probably find somewhere else to play, too, if I were a dual threat QB who had just watched this season of K-State football.

I'm already assuming the press is being put back on AJ Bush, but i also wonder if we renew any interest in Jeremy Jones out of San Antonio. He's a 3* DT QB that has been committed to Rice for quite awhile, but whose OC just left for KU.

Man please stop being such a tuck, this kid doesn't owe any school anything. He is making a decision that could at best impact his life for the next three years, to us he's just another recruit. He or anyone else flipling doesn't mean crap other than he and whomever is helping him with his decision are doing what they feel is best for him. He's a senior in high school he should feel no burden to do a septuagenarian any favors with his biggest life decision to date.

My biggest complaint is committing and opening it up a few weeks before the deadline.  If you wanted to keep taking visits, fine.  Don't commit.  Or open it up back in November.

I don't care that he's decommitting.  I care about the timing.

I agree with what you're saying but the kid does need to learn the value that a person's word can have in life.   If he wasn't truly committed to Utah or KSU, he should never have given his verbal.

Jfc, guys. People de-commit all the time from all kinds of schools for all kinds of reasons. Get over it. They're 17/18 year olds.

Which is the better strategy?:

a) Recruit multiple quarterbacks, make no promises
or...
b) Recruit one quarterback, let him know he is the one and only QB for this class?

I guess you have to make promises to get some guys to commit.
