OK, somebody tell me how much I should care about this on a scale of 1-10. TIA.

I actually really like Mike Stevens. Wish he wouldn't have flipped. That being said, he's not irreplaceable.

That's great, but...hmm.  Interesting date.

With Stevens gone, might be a good time to see a Jesse Mack commitment.

NC St board on getting Mike Stevens.  I'm   :bang:  :jerk: ...  :shakesfist: at NC St fans who think they are a football powerhouse .. #KUsyndrome

"did State need to offer him a scholarship? If State is truly his dream school and he currently can afford to go to a private school then why not just walk on at State? And get a scholly later if everything pans out?"

"if it is just a short term need to fill a hole then I sort of understand it, but again may not need to have to waste a scholly on a kid who wanted to be at State anyway..."

"consider me underwhelmed......how many recruiting spots are left for 2014?"

"but with limited room left I was just wondering on how many spots were left to sign kids with zero position rankings?"

"If the kid wanted to be at NC State that bad then why did he commit to KSU?  I love NC State just as much as anyone else, but I would have to be one rich sob before I would pay for my child to go to NC State vs. a free ride at KSU."

*** Disclaimer: (Most posts are complimentary, especially towards Snyder, but since it feeds us to be under-appreciated, I posted the negative posts)

I think the kid wanted to stay close to home but didn't really have options.  I'm sure he would have flipped for UNC or NC State.  Maybe even Duke.

"Well, I just talked to him three or four days ago and he will be back here on Tuesday for the start of the second semester," Coach Callahan said about Clinkscales. "He has some incompletes from the fall, but he feels confident that he is going to be able to work it out. I mean, incompletes are just like no grade at all so he just needs to complete whatever it is the teacher wants him to complete at the level for the grade that he needs or wants.

"So he seems to feel confident about it. Looking at it on paper it doesn't seem as promising, but he's coming back and feels good about it and I know K-State is still coming hard on him and Nebraska is still hanging in there with him. So now it's just wait and see how it all falls out."

Clinkscales further clarified just what he will be facing in the classroom upon his return to Dodge City.

"Right now, I just passed 13 credit hours," Clinkscales explained. "I'm taking 18 more this coming semester, as well as two online
