Braden Smith names the schools he'll be visiting this month. Notre Dame, Shitigan, and O-hi-o State.  :barf:

Warmack leader of --> #dreamteam ?

Question for everyone : are the kids from like Wyoming/Montana/Idaho (MW kind of area) worth recruiting? Do they have too raw of skill sets? Distance too far away from Manhappenin?
What got me thinking was the fact that; Snyder has been able to get plenty of Gatorade POY kind of kids (We'll see if that accolade is a strength or not in the future, but for now..) The Gatorade POY kids from those MW states might have some physical qualities that could shape them into #EMAW players but, we never know because those states never get publicity. Thoughts? I am just speculating on where to find more DITRs  :dunno:

I hear they can throw over those mountains over there.

Robert Castaneda, '14 OT from Round Rock, TX has committed. Offer from TTU and "interest" from Bama, LSU, aTm, & Baylor. His mom says that KSU has been on him for 3 years and the others have come on strong lately.

Already had a Texas Tech offer, and it sounds like he was starting to blow up.   It also sounds like K-State has been all over this kid for quite awhile.   Good job coaches . . . fire up the coffee pots you closers!!

If Gates says he's about to blow up then he's about to effing blow up!

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

I think there are some kids there.  I posted in here about one from WY getting interest from Oregon and some others, but I know his dad would love him to play for Dickey.  He's only a sophomore and he's like NFL size already.

But I have to think expending the time resource to land these few kids probably just isn't worth it and that's why they don't do it.

We must have given up early on the 2013 class in order to lock down some kids in the 2014 class.

JR days were happening regardless. I don't think that one suggests the other. It may come as a surprise, but it's possible, and maybe even likely, that we're working on both.

I think the giant castle we're building plus the Big 12 trophy we're flaunting has something to do with this.

I'm almost scared to say that we might be cooking with a little gas on the recruiting trail.   I mean, it ain't a 5 alarmer just yet, but the wick has been turned up for sure.

I think they must have put something in the water at Junior Day.

Thought I read somewhere that Snyder alluded to '14 as being the class where they noticed our recent success should really begin to pay dividends...
