Quote
Butler defensive end Cornelius Carradine continues to have his way with opposing offenses. Against Air Force Prep, he had 16 tackles, nine solo, 3.5 sacks (for the second time this season), a QB hurry and a recovered fumble to stop a possible score. Said Morrell: "Cornelius had another solid performance. He was all over the field and has been the consistent leader on the field for us with his intense play."...

For his efforts, Carradine was named the Conference Defensive Player of The Week. Others honored: sophomore QB Angelo Pease of Hutchinson (offense)

I see we have offered Cornelius Carradine. I didn't think that was the case a week ago. Could be wrong though.

He's getting attention from a lot of big names. He's also currently listed at 6'5" 257 on the Butler County roster... an absolute beast. Glad we got our offer in early.  :crossfingers:

would be a treat to have Williams and Carradine as bookend DEs for a couple of years.  Damn, I'm for sure going to be attending the Butler vs. Hutch game this year.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

How many years does Harold have left... 2?

These two as bookends might be kinda nice.

Depends if the NCAA grants him a waiver on last season for being an enormous pussy.  They are somewhat hesitant to grant those though.

Harold is indeed listed on the team site as a redshirt sophomore.

What about this: Carradine and Harold as the best DE combo in the Big XII. And at 6'3" 235 with a 4.6 40, Meshak Williams joins Fire & Ice as a run crushing, pass rushing OLB.

I'm starting to think getting Carradine here might be PW-Worthy...  :dunno:

Honestly?

Yup... What part of what I said sounded like I was joking?

I'd say with his size and speed Williams could transition to lb pretty easily.

I'm sick of having WDE that weigh less than 250lbs.  If we're going to play this softass 4-2-5 horseshit we need to have near 1200lbs of girth on the D-Line.  Two 300lb DT's and 270lb DE's

I get what you are saying but I would rather have legit 4* talent at 230-250 lbs than some schlub at 270.  I'm pleasantly surprised by "WRSOAT's" recent hauls.  If you count the D1 transfers the last couple of classes are shaping up pretty decently.  BS may be getting older but I think the young assistants are doing work.

That's the other thing I don't get about JuCo's these days.  I thought you went to JuCo b/c a) you were a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!), or b) you were too small and needed to do steroids.  It was no big secret that lots of JuCo guys did steroids back in the day to get jacked to get to D1, now they come in rated 4* and only weight 234lbs.  They should weigh 270 with raisin sized balls

It has become apparent to me, fairly recently, that juco players are never worthy of the hype they receive. Even when it seems as though their success is certain.

Newton caused me to waver slightly, but I remain in this belief.

It would be interesting to see how some of those DOD jucos would rate on the current rivals system.

Saw the Hutch game tonight.  M. Williams was a beast, and a very vocal leader type.

How did Pease look?  Also, if Butler, Butch, and GC all won tonight we should have the top 3 teams in the nation from the Jayhawk Conference.
