visiting this weekend

good podcast interview with Bernard... about the 8 or 9 min mark.
other good stuff in there as well.

Sounds like we have a good shot, but only if Mizzou doesn't offer. He was impressed with the UCLA game.
Apparently out best recruiting tactic with him is the powercat.

How many years does Harold have left... 2?

These two as bookends might be kinda nice.

Depends if the NCAA grants him a waiver on last season for being an enormous pussy.  They are somewhat hesitant to grant those though.

I don't he played anywhere near enough quarters for a redshirt to be allowed.  It would be a bit more difficult if he was looking for a hardship waiver but he still had a redshirrt available.

I thought Harold was already granted a medical redshirt? He's listed as a sophomore.

Can't even apply for a medical hardship until all of your eligibility is exhausted, including your redshirt.  I would assume that he used his redshirt because he only played a small fraction of the season.    Also, no such thing as a medical redshirt, only a medical hardship. We covered this fairly in depth on the old board, back when Hoskin's eligibility was exhausted.

Hey, his old man, David, might have taught him some Kung Fu.  Now young grasshopper snach this leaf from my hand.  This may be too old of a reference for some of you youngsters out there.

SKIATOOK — Top-ranked Booker T. Washington defeated Skiatook 35-0 to open district 5A-3 play Friday night at Hap Dunlap Field.
Isaac Bennett finished with 171 yards rushing on 15 carries and had three touchdowns for the Hornets (3-1, 1-0).

Teammate Tyler Lockett had 92 receiving yards on four catches and had a pair of touchdown grabs.

Quarterback Connor Appelberg gained 112 yards on 23 carries for the Bulldogs (0-4, 0-1).

Booker T. Washington’s opening drive covered 91 yards on seven plays. Bennett’s 54-yard TD run on fourth down finished that march off at the 5:53 mark of the first quarter.

Exactly two minutes later, the Hornets made it 14-0 after a 32-yard scoring strike from Dominique Sells to Lockett.

One play prior, Lockett returned a punt 19 yards, picking up a huge block from one of his teammates near midfield in the process.

Booker T. Washington had another chance after moving deep into Skiatook territory late in the second quarter.

Aaron Gillman, however, recovered a fumble for the Bulldogs at his own 5 with 3:29 remaining in the first half.

The Hornets scored on their first possession of the second half. Bennett did the honors again on a 30-yard touchdown run with 8:10 left in the third quarter.

That score came four plays after Dominique Alexander gained 9 yards on a fake punt on fourth-and-3 at the Hornet 49.

Bennett stretched the lead to 28-0 after a 1-yard plunge at the 4:40 mark of the third quarter. The Hornets only had to travel 20 yards on four plays after Jarvis Hinson blocked a punt.

Liberal star wide receiver and Kansas State recruit Jade Cathey did not have a reception in the first 20 minutes of the game and was only thrown to once in that period. Liberal’s ground attack did not work, and the Redskins fell into a 27-0 hole.
When Liberal quarterback Slader McVey finally connected with Cathey, it went for a 68-yard touchdown.
The second time they hooked up, it was a 33-yard score that got the Redskins back into the game.

Looks like Cathey had a decent night, despite his quarterback not throwing to him.

I just want his 4 stars. And his arm, that can throw a pass what quarterbacks do.
