The QB from McPherson is pretty damn good and very K-Statey. Whiffing on this guy year after year is why we're going to be prepetually mired in 7-5, 6-6 seasons under the current Snyder incarnation.

I wasn't arguing the "KS kids suck ass at football" part, but I think that there are quality players that we need to keep in state.

If we could get the good TX and FL players, I'd be all for that, but they don't want to come here. Evidence empirically shows that neither do the good KS players, but it hurts the ego to know that we don't have some kind of built in advantage for these players.

Yes. Consistently failing to land the most talented player in our home state year after year is why we won't be good under Snyder.

Yeah, because Snyder has consistently proven that he can't land the top players from KS. Except for Bryce, Arthur, Demarcus, Harper, Brod, etc...

No idea why I am posting this here but speaking of KS recruits, talked to a couple from Winfield last night and Nick Patton is now playing football for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. I'm shocked.

I'm not that enamoured with any in-state kids this year. I'm far more interested in the 2013 class as it will resemble more of recent years. This year is a down year in Kansas not that most years would be considered great. The QB from Mac isn't the type used in Snyder's offensive systems so not a big....neither was Blake Bell so not sure why anybody here would mention him.

Next year the Tanner Wood kid from Conway, Brady Moore from Marysville, and Jerel Morrow from Emporia all look like 4 starish type players.

only knock on him is that he won't be a kid who generates much of a pass rush...but he's more of a nose type player with a 3 tech type of build. Nowadays the DTs with pass rushing ability are more desired and get offered first. Britz is just a really solid player and anybody w/ some common sense can see that in watching his video.
