Is it a high school kid?  If so, they generally play both ways so it doesn't really matter.

yeah, hamburglar...it's real .  Pretty cool post on your part.

he was put in the database initially as an OL a long time ago...who the f cares?

the kid was the class 4 defensive player of the year in Missouri last season.  all-state 1st team DL.  Is it some big catastrophe that he has an OT by his name at the moment?  JFC
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

Why the shitty star rating if he's first team all state in MO? Seems like that would warrant a higher rating. Always thought MO had decent football, but maybe not.

Prolly because our only competition for his services is Iowa State, according to rivals.com

Now why that is:  :dunno: DITR?  :dunno:

I would be really worried if 'Hatter didn't like him.

YES, but I'll feel a lot better when we've got some calf diameter breakdowns and some shot put numbers to digest.

The proof will be in the "pudding", as they say...

Britz is a tough and physical defender. He possesses good size and displays a frame capable of supporting more good mass with time in a college weight program. He could strive for more consistency, but he gets off the ball well. He is excellent with his hands. He fires out...

I guess I was wrong in my statement, it still amazes me that Rivals themselves could have him listed in their top 25 for Missouri, then turn around on his profile and list him as a no-star OL.  I used to think that GPC was just the crappiest Rivals site of a major program, but maybe the whole operation is a piece of crap.  Sorry for being a little pissed that a site that's supposed to be the best in the business listed a kid we just offered as a no-star talent at a position we didn't offer him for until after he commited.  I guess that's what I get for trusting an operation that lets Fitz run one of their sites.

Kansas doesn't even have enough talent to produce 10 three stars or higher in the same recruiting class, plus we have #5 and #7 locked up already.

I think I was wishfully hoping Rock Star Bill was going to reverse our trend of every year the best guy going out of state.

The QB from McPherson is pretty damn good and very K-Statey.  Whiffing on this guy year after year is why we're going to be prepetually mired in 7-5, 6-6 seasons under the current Snyder incarnation.
