If Delton played in Texas or California, he'd be a 6 :star:

yeah, my additional reply was going to be "he may improve a lot and become a better option than Hubs but then he'd just be better than Hubs"

I want the official record to state that I am not high on Hubes, and I'm lukewarm on Ertz.  I just think Bill isn't Old Balls Kenobi'ing us right now with Hubes at #2.

I also think they like Laird based on weird things you hear here and there.

Laird has a lot better shot at being good for the simple fact that I don't know for certain that he's not good.

Laird:

I've seen like 1 recruiting video now but that has to be the worse of them all. Best thing he does, I guess, is tie his shoe laces reasonably well. The effort on the sand slam was poor. And he did like 3 down and backs on the vb court.

I think there's a scientific name for this, but I have no idea what it is.

Same with Laird.

The funny thing is we're gonna to have a QB run heavy, TOP centric offense next year no matter who is the starter and all of the options will be inferior to what Sams could have provided. All in the name of having back to back Waters lead 8-5 seasons.

Considering the fact that Carnes agrees with you, probably all of it.
