I wish there was some way we could keep Wallace from talking to any of our good recruits.

I mean, he committed so our coaches can just ignore him and take his commitment for granted 100%

Someone get his number and practice up a good fake Bill voice.

He does a pretty good job keeping himself from talking to our recruits as is.

Email from my source:

Although Terrell Clinkscales recently picked up an offer from Alabama, don't lose out hope on the possibility of him landing in the Big 12 Conference -- and more specifically, K-State.

I've heard the likelihood of his transcript being admitted into the SEC isn't great and that the Big 12 schools (as we have known for a long time) are more friendly when receiving junior college transcripts.

K-State continues to recruit him hard and will stay on him.

long email from my guy about dvonta

Quote
Obviously there is some talk that is going on about Dvonta. I just wanted to update everyone on what I have been told.

GCCC vs Highland.
As most of you know I have a source that I talk to frequently about Dvonta, my source has been dead on so far. A lil while back there was a short thread going on talking about an altercation that happened between GCCC players and Highland  C.C players. Some were concerned that maybe Dvonta was undisciplined, well from what my source tells me is that after the game a GCCC fan talked trash to some highland players ( trash talking between the two teams went on through the whole game.) and a Highland player punched the fan in the head. Dvonta saw this and it didn't sit right with him, so he swung at two guys ( supposedly knocked them out) and that caused several players from both sides to jump in before coach's broke it up. Dvonta personally knew the fan so he took it personal. With that being said, Dvonta needs to learn to keep his cool and realize he has a much bigger future ahead of him.

Grades-
I've also noticed there is a lot of concern about if he would even qualify. When I ask about Dvonta's grades my sources tells me "they're good". He does struggle a little with math, but he is working with a tutor. I was told he is on pace to qualify.

Dvonta's other school-
Dvonta has one school in mind that he would consider leaving kstate for. I know what school that is, but I don't think this info should be released until he is officially a Wildcat. He keeps posting on twitter, and instagram about all these schools that are after him, but I keep being assured he is just letting everyone know that he feels "blessed" that all these different schools want him on their squad. Once again there is only ONE school that could potentially stand in the way, other wise he is a FIRM commitment.

Clarke-
There is no doubt that Errol Clarke is extremely talented, But what I hear is that he has character issues. I've been told that he has almost come to "blows" several times with Jeff Kelly, and can't get along with the staff. I was originally on board with getting Clarke an offer, but what I've heard his personality does not sound like something we need on our team.

Take all this info FWIW I am just simply forwarding along what I hear.  Others might hear other things that contradict me, but like I said my source has been pretty dead on so far. I held back a lot of this Info until I got permission to release it, today I was given the okay to email it.

Has anybody tried a more direct approach via twitter with DJamer Wallace? Like just simple stuff we all try to apply to our daily lives (it took me some practice too) like try not be be super dorky/try not to be super annoying/try to be just generally more cool/etc?

Elite juco DT narrows list
Scottsdale (Ariz.) Community College defensive tackle Calvin Heurtleou is one of the most heavily recruited prospects in the junior college ranks, and it looks like he’s got his sights set on the SEC. Heurtleou, who is 6-foot-3 and 305 pounds, has narrowed his choices to Missouri and Tennessee and is no longer interested in other schools like Kansas State, Cincinnati, Miami, Nebraska, Rutgers and Wisconsin. Heurtleou said he’s focused mainly on playing time and sees an opportunity to get on the field quickly at both schools. “Tennessee loses around six defensive linemen, and the coaches tell me I can make an immediate impact,” he said. “Missouri’s defense is aggressive and gets after the quarterback. I think there’s a good opportunity for me there, too.” Insiders at Scottsdale believe Heurtleou is leaning toward Missouri because the “Tigers put defensive tackles in the NFL.” We fail again.

You never stop contacting a JUCO kid interested in the SEC.  There is always a good chance (like Clinkscale) that they won't qualify and will need a landing spot.

Honestly, that should be one of our staple JUCO recruiting strategies.
