Aaron has really had an impressive season, as most of us expected.

I texted very shortly with him on Monday wondering if perhaps he'd have time to make it up for a visit, but he says he does not have one scheduled. My guess is that will change, but it surprised me a little that some other commits seem to have one at least set up by now and he does not.

Not trying to allude to anything or get anyone worried, just saying that it came off to me a little strange.

Two thoughts.  1.  LOL at Tigerboard all happy at the developments and remembering how enraged they used to be about Juco players.   2.  Will happily take a guy who can't get into another school because of a C- in an English class.   I really wonder who some of these schools think they are sometimes.

I would be ok with lowering our admission standards if it meant getting better players.

I've always been bitter that Michigan couldn't get JUCO kids into school there, they'd be great for plugging glaring holes for a year or two.

Then Rich Rod finally got one in, but he was this tiny little white MLB who could have qualified out of HS but he sucked at football got 0 offers and went the JUCO route. Anyway, he was horrible.
