I think what happened is they made a couple of horrendous calls that screwed KSU, like the CK technical and then went too far with the makeup calls.

The refs were terrible and lost control of the game. Let them play in the 1st half, then the 2nd half they not only start calling everything, they make up stuff. We were just more agressive than CU, so we got more calls.

Yeah, it was blatantly obvious that the refs were more incompetent than biased. Our style of play is naturally conducive to getting more fouls called against us by an unbiased crew.

Yeah. Not sure how the call against Kelly could have been a T but the Burks call was an intentional. Tom O'neil is awful, always has been. I know people hate Higgins but O'neil has been the WITB for years.

i'm rewatching the entire game now and adding up the tenths that come off the clock on dead balls. i already have 1.6 seconds and i've still got more than 3/4 of the game to go. look for a giant exposé post in an hour or two. someone tweet a link to the big 12 office.

Not sure who was getting mumped over the most. But it's irrelevant. It was however, just a poorly officiated game. Between the official reviews and the clusterfuck substitutions and the ticky tack "take control of the game" fouls. Horrible. When the announcers comment on it, you know its bad.

Yeah, can confirm as a former radioer. A neutral crew goes out of its way to refrain from criticizing the refs unless they directly impact the outcome of the game.
