LOL. www.firebruceweber.com redirects to the Fighting Illini official sports website.

Funny that they knew it was coming.  Lets ask them if we can have it

He went 89-16 in his first 3 years, with Bill Self's recruits! It's easy to have a winning percentage that high when you have players that good. Look what he did in the next 6 years.

he inherited a national championship caliber team and then went eleven games under .500 in conference in his last six years and missed the tourney three out of the last five.

The only way we don't have the worst basketball program in America for the next coaching search is if we get really lucky and Weber comes down with some illness that makes him retire or he dies in some freak accident. eff John Currie. He needs to burn.

Bottom line, everyone was going to flip out with any hire other than Gottlieb.

Bottom line, Gottlieb wanted the job. Hurricane would have taken the job. We had qualified candidates that would have put together successful programs, but we went out and hired a man who isn't half the coach Doc Saddler is. Go eff yourself, Doberman_CATS!!!

We hired someone with a very limited ceiling.  If someone as bland as oscar Weber comes into your house to sell you on a small town in Kansas for college, you laugh at him.  You need someone with fire and intensity.  Weber is neither.

YOU CAN NOT HIRE A COACH THAT WAS JUST FIRED.  THAT MAKES YOU SECOND CLASS

This is one of those movies where the villain is fueled by fevered dreams of revenge against the good guy and will stop at nothing, even if it is undignified and desperate. Everyone knows he is going to die, but he doesn't care as long as he at least takes the good guy with him...Gladiator is a good example.

Anyway...I think its possible that Webber is haunted by Self to such an extreme that he is willing to ruin himself and everyone near him just to get one last desperate shot at him. But we all know how this movie ends. #TSC
