I'll have to wait until tomorrow before the analytics are updated.

listened to the GoPo coaching search podcast

"All of his suggested assistants were fired" - From head coaching jobs, they got from being really successful assistants
"Shaka, Brad Stevens - successful because they were assistants" - You know some other successful assistants who didn't succeed as head coaches, the group of people you just mocked.

A bunch of rough ridin' idiots

Was tough to listen to. Wallace and Kitchen should have a reality tv show that Currie is forced to watch until he relents and goes #Gottlieb4KSU.

Also loved their talking point about how this hire is going to decide Currie's career and then they went straight to saying the best decision is promoting Underwood. I'm sure other schools would be lining up impressed by that tough call! "Hey, Brad, you want the job for minimal raise?" "Sure." "Cool."

True and also true.  It really cements the fact that this a good decision.  You know who they aren't terrified of?  Steve Henson.  Tim Jankovich.

If Currie's exit date is prior to late 2013 he can very safely hire Brad, watch him take a pretty solid returning team to what will be a 1-time NCAA appearance & pull the ripcord before the whole bag of crap comes back to Earth.  If he's going to be here through the 2013-2014 season he'll have to do better.   But it's a minor hit to Currie even if he fails miserably: hoops coach <<<< $75M football stadium upgrade + $20M basketball practice facility.   Smart money says he takes no chances here.

Anyone not named Doug Gottlieb
