If its a Jank/Henson type, Currie may as well keep Underwood and try to maintain as much as the current program as possible. I don't think he'll do that.
My standard is to at least make an attempt to replace what Frank was; a solid coach who was going to get you upper half league finishes and NCAA tournaments. There simply aren't a lot of guys like that out there that K-State could get. Looking around college basketball, I'm talking about guys like Stallings, Mack, Dunphry, or even Pastner or Cronin. Unfortunately, I think for K-State a somewhat proven guy who isn't necessarily a league winning coach is probably out of our league, unless Currie is willing to throw out $2.5 mil a year or something like that.
The prospects for us just look pretty bleak and the odds of catching an extremely fortunate break like we did with Martin seem slim.
