I, for one, think the patio is a great "date place" or about as good as it gets reasonably priced (thereby excluding harry's etc.).

Bacon wrapped chorizo meatloaf?

 :lick:

This is the only thing I have had from the Patio but It was pretty :lick: :lick: :lick: :lick:

i'm getting the impression that this place does not have a romantic atmosphere.  so, do not take a date there.  next question.  does it have a big screen tv for watching sports?

Date Place:No   They have like 8 reasonably sized tv's I think like  42"-50"

Good restaurants have a 1 page menu.

The Patio looks like it wants to be a Cuban restaurant.  But there aren't enough people in MHK to support a Cuban restaurant.

So they hang their Cuban stuff on the side and try to compete against Chili's with a bunch of crap that distracts from the stuff that might otherwise be good.

Good point on the more than one page menu.  Gordon Ramsey is going rake this dumbass place over the coals on Kitchen Nightmares.

Enjoy it while it lasts, Daris.

We went to the patio saturday night.  It was pretty good.  Pretty unique and different, which is nice.  By the way, Frank and some of the coaches and their families were enjoying Manhattan at the patio sat. night.

Does this place have coupons?  Sounds like a place that would have coupons.  I might try it if anybody has a coupon for their fried pickles (pickle chips) :excited:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

I would go with it being not much like applebees; unless every place that has burgers is like applebees, you know; so long, tubbys, etc... :flush:

Daris made his point with Hibachi Hut.  Gordon Ramsey won't be visiting MHK.  I want to try The Patio the next time I'm in town.
