The Loft is now Campus Tavern. It sucked really bad. Now CT is just a bar I guess. Never been there, but I hear it's a different crowd. The Loft is really bringing down that lot, especially since it was the gay/lesbian/tranny bar for a while.

Good restaurants have a 1 page menu.

The Patio looks like it wants to be a Cuban restaurant. But there aren't enough people in MHK to support a Cuban restaurant.

So they hang their Cuban stuff on the side and try to compete against Chili's with a bunch of crap that distracts from the stuff that might otherwise be good.

Depends on your definition of good. Just look at the menu. It's Applebee's/Chili's/Kite's/TGI Friday's + Cuban.

I guess you could open up a restaurant and make it like a food court with a McDonald's on one side and Charlie Trotter on the other. That might be a huge hit.
