on anderson just west of westloop. home to restaurants in the back that are lined up in a row and typically stay a year or two before biting it. not sure what all has been there in the past as i tend to just stay away from that shopping area, but the patio is pretty great*.

Love that place.  I go there pretty often.  They have a caribbean section that some people might like.  I generally just get the catfish though.

Also, I saw frank (martin, not richards) there one time.

the patio, or the grossio as i like to call it, is really gross.  it's owned by one of the admins of this site, yup folks- you guessed it, rick paris.  funny that he starts a thread about his place, who no one has heard of (quit trying to act cool dlew), and then says it's the best in town.

the place sucks and if you go there you will be sorry, bigtime.  do whatever you want to but do not go there no matter what.  it's a bad version of captain D's.

just my two cents.  also, rick pls don't use these boards to advertise for your stupid business ventures anymore, we'll get in troubs with google.  mods pls lock this thread eat em up ksu.

well, i don't own the place but if i did open a place i'd love for it to be like the patio. in regards to the pickle stuff it looks like they are pickle chips. you probably don't even know what those are but i agree that you probably don't have enough money for them, more/less enough money to pay someone to serve them to you because you would be then obligated to tip which is something that everybody here already knows you are too cheap to do.

my advice? glad you asked. stay at home with your cat and eat some frozen pizza or something and avoid clicking on restaurant threads in the future. i mean, good lord.

Good choice, RD.  Very enjoyable in the warm weather (not hot weather).  Because, you know, of the patio and all that.

Any bar/restaurant that is only two words, with the first word being "The," is not an establishment I want to be at. Can't think of a single good bar/restaurant that is called The ____.

Good one, but next time try to follow the criteria (in MHK, two words total.)

name is pretty far down on the list of things that i care about when i live in a town the size of mhk. have fun at the olive garden. at least it has three words instead of two so you know you'll like it.

I can't think of any places in MHK that are "The ___," except The Loft, which sucks (or sucked, is it even there anymore?), and The Patio, which is probably disgusting.
