like dax said, there may be a number of guilty parties here. going back to all of the straws, not just the one that finally broke our season's back.

the big 12 seems to have some new league wide, external testing policy. that may be a factor. it's also possible that the staff tried to get hardass this summer/fall and tested when they didn't have to.

still, preliminary indications are, this falls on currie. and maybe even was something he doesn't mind seeing. if true (hell, even if not true), send his dumbass ass back to bumfuckville deepsouthland asap.

but nothing is official. yet. if anyone is still praying for anything else, cancel those and put all your efforts into getting kelly cleared.

I understand what you're saying, but one school of thought in avoiding "the man" on the rules front, is the "mans" perception of your athletic department. If "the man" thinks you've got a straight up guy running the show, they may sniff around less, even though they may be no where close to reality.
