Ground Meat Question
« on: February 07, 2011, 11:35:57 AM »
Do you treat ground pork exactly like ground beef?  Do you just cook it the same way or is there a different technique?

I got like 8 lbs of it given to me so I need to make lots of things.  What I really need to know is if I can just make it exactly like ground beef and still have it taste good.  Like, I want to make tacos but I don't know if that would work.

i think 'clams is right.  the only difference in beef and pork is that pork is probably a bit more greasy.  you can still do the same things with it, though.

I made sausage and cheese wontons yesterday for the 'perbowl. They were pretty gnarly.

just thought of something new- take the ground pork and shape it into a shape of a pork chop. cook, enjoy.

Just skip the part about grinding up the pork because that's all ready been done.

I don't know which I have had, but I would assume it to be MX due to proximity.   :dunno:

Either way, it is really delicious.
