Tomorrow.

 :excited:

did you mean to post a picture of an iPhone or wtf did you buy?

I like big phones and I cannot lie.

Had an iPhone once. It was fine.

is that a galaxy note?  a guy at work has 1 of those and it looks like he's holding an iPad mini to his head when he's on the phone.

Yeah, a Note 3. I've had a HTC DNA for a year and it wasn't much smaller. The features on the Note 3 are pretty incredible.

You'll like the Note 3 _FAN. If you want a big screen, it's the best smartphone on the market.

_FAN, how do you carry that big SOB around?  Does it fit in your pocket or are you a holster guy?  I have a S4 and it seems like that is the biggest phone I could fit in my front pocket.  The Note 3 seems really interesting.

First, I've NEVER had a holster and NEVER will. That is ridiculous IMO.

Honestly, the pocket thing is not that big of a problem for me and I'm not a big person, nor do I have large hands. My previous phone was a HTC DNA with an Otterbox case. It was nearly the same size and with that case the DNA was actually thicker than the Note 3 with the case I have now. I did go with a more compact hard case and ArmourSuit screen protector which helps a lot for reducing the bulk of the phone.

I really like having the larger screen, the stylus is nice for many features, and the speed and things you can do with the Note 3 really surpass any phone I've ever had. The multi-window mode and having 2 apps open at once is really cool for example.

I am with you on the holster thing.  I was just curious on the size.  How is the battery life?

The size question is legit, and I'm sure its an issue for some people, I just haven't had any problems with it.

As far as battery goes, so far its been really good. I've had it less than a week, but I'd say with "normal" use its using around 5-6% of the battery per hour, which will get me through the day easily.

I also already have 2 wireless chargers (one at work, one at home) from my DNA, so I'm getting a replacement back cover that converts the Note 3 to wireless charging.

I want a phone that I can use with one hand. I'm typing this message on tapatalk one handed right now, holding a pumpkin spice latte with the other. That just isn't possible with the Note or other large phones. I'm currently on the HTC One X, and it's definitely at the upper limits of what I could use comfortably. I'd love to see a flagship phone with a 4.5" screen. That's really the only thing holding me back from a phone like the Note.

Response sent with one hand.

I don't use it, but the Note 3 has a setting that you can slightly reduce the size of the screen area to use with one hand.

Can you touch the upper left corner of your screen one handed? You know, where all of the android have an up button? For me, the extra screen real estate isn't worth the trade off.

Like I said, the Note 3 is probably the best smartphone, if you don't mind the size. I mind the side.

Yeah, I never use it. If you're going to have this much screen you might as well use it.

I just received my settlement check in the  mail ($90) from the Sprint contract class action case.  I have been with Sprint since 1999, and I am going to drop them and go to Verizon.  I am sick and tired of the crap coverage.  The "hometown" benefit of the doubt is over.

Do you mean the back button in tapatalk? I can just use the back button on the bottom of my phone.

Yeah. I understand that talking point, but they do different things. Also the favorite, search, and action overflow buttons are out of reach too.
