if you have an issue with dropping your phone/breaking it, the otterbox is your best friend.  it's just so big/bulky, i can't do it.  i'm good about not dropping things though.

Noticed that BestBuy has the Evo LTE for free right now.  The dude at the store said nuh uh, it's "$99.95."  I called BS and showed him the online price.  He said "that's dumb because it's not free."  I said "it is for me."  He said, "dick" and gave it to me for free.  Kinda excited to play with it when it's all charged up.

Well played. Especially the "it is for me" part.

Not sure if I like tapatalk or not yet.  :dunno:

Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

*edit- Feeling kinda shortchanged that it didn't say the 4G LTE part.

Sprint won't let you buy out your contract anymore. I was going to get my wife a SIII for Christmas but no bueno with the buyout not being an option.

http://gizmodo.com/5974461/walmarts-iphone-5-data-plan-is-ridiculously-cheap

seems pretty great if you don't live in a 4G area

scenario a) get the phone from Sprint/VZN/ATT on contract, that means you pay $300 for the phone and pay ~$80-$100/month

scenario b) get the phone from straight talk with a $45 plan/ + $650 phone.  divide the $350 upcharge on the phone by 12 months and add the $30 to the $45, now you're at $75/mo but don't have no damn LTE.

so you can save $5/mo.  i guess if you're a poor it's pretty great, what is that, like 3 boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese?

or if you already have the phone you save a lot per month which is also good if you are poor

Except that you are dividing by 24 months, and not 12?

I don't know why anyone would use a contract carrier today, unless they're too poor to buy a phone w/o a subsidy.

Are you with Boost?  I think I've asked about your experience with prepaid stuff in the past...  My bro and sis in law swear by T-Mobile's prepay plan.  Only drawback is no cheap phones but they usuallly find some decent deals online for unlocked phones.

that's a good deal.  sprint did it for $50 on black friday but you had to purchase two of them.
