A month in and loving the EVO LTE, its so fast and the display is very sharp.  Admittedly the battery life is crap but I have phone chargers where I sleep, where I work, and in my car so I'm not at all bothered.

well that pretty much makes the decision for me. i'm sick of complete crap battery life.

Guys, I bought the Siii when a couple weeks ago and it is fantastic.  Ridic quick, fantastic camera, very crisp display.  Love this thing.

In fairness I'm not getting a good read on battery life because I'm in and out of roming here in remote New England.  The phone is working its ass off to find a signal.  Every phone has crap battery life when you are constantly signal searching.

yes, as soon as I figure out how to rollback, if possible, I am.   ICS blows.      They move the SEND button for email to the top, and make it tiny.    They make FAX numbers appear first in contacts.    WTF.    Who designed this crap?

mrs. dave's EVO battery lasts about 2 minutes of talk time with a full charge.  I'm trying to make her hold out for the new iphone.  does anyone have a spare evo battery that they want to loan me for a few weeks? alternatively, would sprint give us one if we complained in their faces?

I actually prefer the Evo LTE to the SIII. The metal body is much nicer than the plastic of the SIII. I also can't get over how blue/green the SIII screen is.

I've got the SIII and I don't know what you are talking about blue/green screen, but I do know that you probably can't go wrong with either phone.  They are both really good.

unless the phone is still within the original warranty period Sprint won't do anything.

You can buy a battery for like $5 off ebay though.

anyone know anywhere in Topeka to get front glass replaced on a Samsung phone?   Just the glass, not the LCD.   A friend broke hers, and while I could probably fix it for her, she's not THAT good of a friend.

All of the Samsung Amoled screens have a very cool tint. You can only really see it if you have another phone next to it. But yeah, very similar phones. SIII has some cool little features the EVO doesn't have.
